Talking Student Success at FSANA 2026

A few days with the flight training community in Coronado.

We spent a very enjoyable few days in the US at the Flight School Association of North America (FSANA) Conference in Coronado, spending time with the industry we care so much about.

Catching up with our ever-growing community brought great conversations, a few good laughs, plenty of collective problem solving, and some big thinking about how we can keep training running smoothly and on time.

Our CEO, Jen, had the privilege of speaking on a panel about something that matters a great deal to us at Aeroplanned: student success. It was, after all, the reason we started Aeroplanned in the first place.

We know how difficult it is to deliver consistent, well-paced training — and yet it's such a critical part of achieving student success. Over the years, we've learned that the hard way. We've seen what happens when planning doesn't quite hold together: even at great flight schools, with incredible instructors and highly motivated students, small misalignments quickly grow into real disruption.

That's why we believe consistent, well-paced training isn't a 'nice to have'. It underpins student success.

We could talk about this for hours — 20 minutes on a panel was a good start.

The challenges in pilot training are real, and we all feel them. At the same time, the energy in this community is just as real: thoughtful conversations, open discussions about what's working and what isn't, and people who really care about getting it right. We're so grateful to be part of it.
